Bridge Mini-Tournament at Underwood Elementary (Lee's Summit, MO)
Kathy Rolfe has been teaching in the gifted and talented classes at various elementary schools in Lee’s Summit, MO this school year. Underwood Elementary students finished the Bidding Series course with a mini-tournament on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. Eight students ( two 4th graders and six 6th graders) played eight boards with an individual movement. Each board was played twice. Top on a board was therefore 1. The winner was Zach Cihacek with a matchpoint score of 6. There was a 3 way tie for second with 5 matchpoints among Brady Hemmel, Mitchell Hudson, and Evan Schoenherr.
